Warranty

Yes, we offer a hassle-free warranty on all our security containers.  Find out more about our warranty here.

Shipping/Delivery

Yes, most do. However, each dealer has their own shipping and delivery policy, so contact them directly to find out their policies. You can find our list of dealers here. Any replacement security containers replaced under warranty will be shipped to you free of charge anywhere within the USA.

Security Containers

Yes. That being said, our cases allow you to use your own locks, so we always recommend that you contact your airline before your flight to ensure your locks are approved. We’ve heard anecdotally that each airline’s policies can differ from TSA’s policies and even differ from airport to airport. Call ahead to ensure your locks meet their standards.

As with all electronic devices that run on batteries, duration depends directly on the amount of use. We recommend that you change them every six months (when you change your smoke alarm battery, for example) to reduce the risk of battery failure.

Miscellaneous

No, it is not a requirement of ownership. However, if you ever have to make a claim under your warranty, registration will help make the process go more smoothly for you. It’s another way to protect your investment and enhance your hassle-free warranty. You can register your safe/vault/case here.

Yes, all Sports Afield security containers include full instructions. If you have any questions, you may contact us anytime.

Yes, everyone who purchases a Sports Afield gun safe, Lightning Vault, or storage/traveling case receives a free one-year subscription to Sports Afield, the magazine that inspired our line of security containers. You will receive a coupon with instructions on how to subscribe.

The doors are not built to be removed – in fact they are built specifically NOT to be removed. Any attempt to remove the doors could result in damage to the hinges and in turn you may not be able to close your safe properly. (Failed attempts to remove door hinges are not covered by your warranty.)

These are for charging electronics such as a phone or tablet only.

These are provided for your convenience to run a dehumidifier, power a light kit (included or your own), or to charge a phone, computer, or other electronics.
